NEW YORK (PIX11) -- More than a dozen have been arrested and face almost 40 criminal charges after New York authorities conducted the largest vape enforcement action in state history, Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Wednesday.
The crackdown by the New York State Department of Health and State Police targeted businesses that operated online vape shops and illegally distributed products throughout the state, according to the governor.
"These companies built their business models around breaking New York’s laws and targeting our kids — now, we’re holding them accountable," Hochul said.
