DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Oregon District’s Lily’s Dayton and Blind Bob’s had fires in the kitchen over Labor Day Weekend, and both are fully open on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
2 NEWS spoke with Emily, the owner of Lily’s, on Sunday. She explained there was a small kitchen fire on Saturday night, and the fire extinguisher had to be used. This made the kitchen unusable.
Lily’s was fully booked for Brunch for Heedfest and expected a massive boost in business. It reached out to Blind Bob’s for help.
On Sunday morning, Blind Bob’s had a range fire while preparing to help out Lily’s.
Both stayed open and sold drinks on Sunday. Fast-forward to Wednesday, Lily’s shared on social media that it was opening at 11 a.m. for lunch service with half-priced bottles of wine for ‘girl dinner’.
