LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Police are looking into multiple vandalisms involving traffic control boxes and stop signs in south Lincoln.
On Saturday, Lincoln Police learned that a traffic control box on the southwest corner of 27th and Jameson streets had been vandalized with graffiti. The graffiti was written in permanent marker and contained anti-Trump messages.
The same vandalism happened at the same location in June in the same handwriting, LPD said.
That same day, officers also located three stop signs with the same vandalism in the same handwriting, along with another vandalized traffic control box at 27th Street and Tipperary Trail.
Total damage for the vandalism to traffic control boxes and the stop signs is estimated at $450.
