POCATELLO, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The four officers involved in the shooting death of 17-year-old Victor Perez back in April will not be charged, according to a release from the Office of Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador.

On April 5, 2025, officers were dispatched to a call of ”...a disturbance where an intoxicated male was trying to stab others with a knife,” according to the release. Surveillance video from a nearby business captured the incident in the backyard of the Perez home and later shows police arriving on scene. Police bodycam video shows arriving officers just outside the backyard’s fence with it separating them from Perez.
