VALRICO, Fla. (WFLA)— During a news conference with Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday, Florida Department of Health Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo announced that the state is working to end vaccine mandates.

Ladapo said the Florida Department of Health is working in partnership with the governor's office to end the mandates.

"All of them. All of them. Every last one of them," Ladapo said. "Every last one of them is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery. Who am I, as a government or anyone else, to tell you what you should put in your body? I don't have that right. Your body is a gift from God."
