Police in Asheville, North Carolina, say they are looking for a car after 42 shell casings were found and three cars and an apartment were damaged by gunfire.

Police said they were called about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday to Granada Street to investigate reports of shots fired. Latest Forecast

While canvassing the area, officers found 42 shell casings and damage from the gunshots to three vehicles and one apartment where people were inside.

After reviewing surveillance video, officers identified a white Mazda CX-5 or a similar model as a vehicle possibly involved.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help.
