South Carolina: Wind phone memorial helps navigate grief

GREENVILLE, S.C. —

A special memorial recently introduced to Greenville creates a sacred space to reconnect with lost loved ones through a phone call.

Wind Phones are rotary or push-button phones encased in a box or booth structure, most often located in secluded parts of nature. The phone line is disconnected, giving people an opportunity to share stories, sentiments, and wishes with those who have passed away, or reminisce on their grief journey. Latest Forecast
