Summer is on its way out, and this weekend, it's going to feel like it.

A cold front is moving into the Stark County area Sept. 3 and into Sept. 4, bringing cooler temperatures along with some rain and storms in to North East Ohio .

"Cooler weather will return behind the front, with highs in the 60s or near 70 expected through the weekend," the National Weather Service's Cleveland station said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The Akron-Canton area forecast calls for showers and storms before 8 a.m. Sept. 4, as well as a chance of showers after 2 p.m. Highs will be near 67.

Temperatures should bounce back in the area Sept. 5, with a high near 78 before falling down to the high 60s for the weekend.
