Spider-Man, Captain America, Buzz Lightyear and more could be seen dangling down the side of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Wednesday morning, turning routine maintenance into moments of pure joy for young patients and their families.
Joann Beckie, chief operating officer at the hospital, said the annual tradition, now in its tenth year, has become a highlight for patients, families and staff.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that a group of individuals who in the course of their regular workday literally decide to elevate it to an experience that brings such joy and excitement to all the people in this building,” she said.
