Eastpointe — A hearing to determine whether the woman accused of fatally stabbing her manager at the McDonald's in Eastpointe where she worked is mentally fit to stand trial has been postponed until at least October.
Afeni Muhammad is charged with the first-degree murder of Jennifer Harris, 39, who had worked at the restaurant for 15 years, prosecutors said. Muhammad is accused of stabbing Harris, a manager at McDonald's, as many as 15 times while other employees tried to stop her, according to prosecutors.
