HOUSTON – For a while, the full Jazz ensemble went unheard.

An oblique injury kept Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s impactful lefty bat out of the Yankees’ lineup from April 30 through June 2.

Just over a week later, Chisholm exited a game at Kansas City due to left groin tightness.

Chisholm didn’t go on the injured list, but over his next 39 games he did not steal a base – a streak that carried through July 29.
