Beyond just the rivalry matchup between the Raiders and the Dark Horses that unfolded at Robinson-Lewis Field on Friday night, there was a get-together and a presentation that took place just before kickoff, as Clinton High School recently dedicated its sports complex to the late Dale Johnson, a pivotal — some would say prestigious — member of the Dark Horse community for many years.
“It is very difficult to put into words what Attorney Johnson means to the Dark Horse,” said Dr. Linda Brunson, chairwoman of the Clinton City Schools Board of Education. “He has been impactful from his early years as a CHS student, well into his adult years as an avid supporter of the students and staff at Clinton City Schools.”
