The first weekend of high school football won’t be disrupted by the ongoing labor dispute impacting Evergreen Public Schools .
“Middle and high school practices and events during the work stoppage, though transportation will not be provided,” the district said in a statement to parents Monday. “Families will directly from their school about schedules, locations and site-specific details for athletics and activities.”
Because all four EPS high school varsity football teams have games scheduled this week at McKenzie Stadium, those games will continue as schedule, Cale Piland, the district’s director of student services, confirmed Wednesday.
Mountain View will host Washougal at 7 p.m. Thursday in football. Friday will include a football doubleheader at McKenzie, starting with Heritage vs
