Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) has sparked outrage from President Donald Trump’s MAGA base after he weighed in on rumors circulating about the president’s health.

Social media had erupted over the weekend after Trump was not seen in public for days, with hashtags including “#whereistrump” and “#TRUMPDIED” trending on X. Meanwhile, Trump actively posted on his Truth Social platform and was spotted en route to his golf club in northern Virginia on separate occasions.

While speaking during a Labor Day event on Monday, Walz joked about the speculation.

“You get up in the morning and you doom scroll through things. Although I will say this — the last few days, you woke up thinking there might be news,“ Walz said to laughter from the crowd.
