GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Gwinnett County police officer is being credited with saving a toddler last month.
According to police, a group came up to the officer and told him their 18-month-old child was not breathing. The officer then performed CPR for about seven minutes with the help of an off-duty nurse.
Soon after, firefighters responded and took over before getting the child to the hospital.
Police say the child survived and is recovering.
