For years, sommelier Kurtis Kolt has been straddling two worlds: his love of wine and his growing work in the non-alc space. On September 9, he’s corking the best of both with Wine-ish, a two-hour tasting at Chinatown’s This Is Wine School , co-hosted with his longtime pal and fellow wine pro, Kelcie Jones .
The duo will pour a global quartet of classic wines alongside their non-alc doppelgängers, proving that skipping the booze doesn’t have to mean sipping on glorified grape juice. Think less Shirley Temple, more sophisticated soirée.
