NEMAHA COUNTY, Neb. —
One person died after a crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 75 near Auburn early Wednesday morning, officials said.
The crash occurred about three miles south of Auburn on Highway 75 around 3:20 a.m.
Investigators said a semi-truck was southbound on Highway 75 when a northbound Chrysler Town & Country began crossing into the southbound lane.
The driver of the truck was unable to avoid the collision, the Nemaha County Sheriff's Office said.
The driver, and only occupant of the van, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. They have not been identified.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured, according to the Nemaha County Sheriff's Office.
Highway 75 was closed for several hours on Wednesday morning. The crash is still under investigation.
