SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 182 North I street earlier this afternoon.

The Salt Lake City Fire Department announced that their crews were responding to an active fire in the area of 180 North I street. They asked the public to avoid the area.

A detached garage caught fire, and multiple structures were nearby and threatened. There were also several propane tanks inside the garage, which exploded. Due to the proximity to other structures, SLCFD immediately called for a second alarm.

Reportedly, there was one injury from an individual who was there when the fire started. However, the individual was treated and released on scene.
