VEYO, Utah (ABC4) — A 3-year-old child has died after being left in hot vehicle for multiple hours on September 1st.

The Washington County Sheriff's office confirmed the death of a child after he was left in a hot car outside an apartment building in Veyo. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, they received a call at approximately 6:11p.m. where only screaming could be heard.

At first, it was dispatched as a 911 hang-up. However, dispatchers were able to determine that a child was injured. When medical teams arrived on scene, they found an unresponsive three-year-old male child.
