SPRINGDALE, Utah (ABC4) — Zion National Park has reopened the Weeping Rock Trail for public use after a nearly two-year maintenance closure.

One of Zion's prominent landmarks, the Weeping Rock Trail, reopened on Friday, Sept. 5. The nearby Shuttle Stop 7 has also reopened. A closure was put in place after a rockfall in Nov. 2023. The time allowed crews to repair trail tread, railings, and stairs while geologists reviewed the site.
