Etihad Airways has reported its strongest-ever half-year performance , delivering record profitability in the first six months of 2025. The airline has seen passenger numbers soar by 17% to 10.2 million in H1 2025, driven by considerable fleet and network expansion over the past year, and leading to a 32% increase in net profits after tax.
Also highlighted in the announcement was the fact that Etihad's fleet now surpasses 100 aircraft. It expects to have more than 20 new aircraft delivered in 2025, including its first examples of the A321LR. This has enabled it to embark on substantial network growth, with 27 new destinations launched or announced this year alone.
