BOISE, Idaho — Boise Airport's expansion project now has Colorado construction management company Hensel Phelps at the helm.
The airport recently unveiled new dining and retail options to serve travelers coming through the Treasure Valley. Those options include local and national dining choices. But this is just one section of the travel hub's expansion plan.
The City of Boise approved a contract for up to $700 million through 2029. Projects within that agreement include a larger system to handle passenger baggage, up to 10 new gates in Concourse A and a central utility plant for the heating, cooling and electrical needs of the terminal. The airport now has an expanded security checkpoint and new parking garages. A rental car center is currently under construction.
