A Minnesotan is among the new cast members at Saturday Night Live.

On Tuesday, the show announced the addition of five new featured players for its upcoming 51st season, including comedian and St. Paul native Tommy Brennan.

In August, creator Lorne Michaels said that this would be a season where things are shaken up on the show. He wasn't kidding. So far, SNL has revealed the departure of multiple cast members along with the new names on its featured players roster.

The incoming freshman group includes four new faces, as well as Ben Marshall, who has been a writer on the show in recent years and is a part of comedy troupe Please Don't Destroy.

Brennan lists St. Paul as his hometown in SNL's announcement and graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall, per the Pioneer Press.
