MILTON, Fla. (WKRG) — The natural gas line replacement project's next phase is moving forward in Milton.

According to a news release from the city, crews will now move to a new area after finishing work on Magnolia Street and Lakeshore Drive.

Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-September at the intersection of Hunt Street and Ravine Street.

In late September and early October, work will begin on Conecuh Street and Park Avenue, extending to Kincehn Street. Alabama Street will follow.

Crews will likely be in the area for at least a month, although the construction timeline could change depending on weather conditions, the release stated.

A technician will relight gas appliances if service is disrupted.
