NBA players have had success before on Dancing With the Stars, but Baron Davis admits he was apprehensive about joining the cast for season 34.
“[I] was a little hesitant,” Davis, 46, told Us Weekly exclusively. “You go back and forth, and you’re like, you know, if you do this, you’re all in, and you’re dancing in front of people, a lot of people on TV.”
But once he made the decision, the two-time All-Star point guard shifted into preparation mode, putting his “anxiety and nervousness” aside.
“I get that as an athlete, before games, before practice, and that just means that, like, I’m readying myself for something,” he said.

Davis, who last played in the NBA for the New York Knicks in 2012, will partner with Britt St
