Fifty days ago, Fever star Caitlin Clark was said to be 'day-to-day.' She never did come back, and now she won't. Not this season anyway. Weird right?

Clark suffered four lower-body muscle injuries in the Fever's first 23 games, and hasn't played since July 16. She was ruled day-to-day the next day by Fever coach Stephanie White, 50 days ago.

Clark finished her second WNBA season averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds. She shot 27.9% on 3-pointers, and ended the season in a 7-for-49 slump.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was injured for the fourth time this season on July 15, a groin injury so unremarkable she was initially ruled questionable for the Fever’s game 24 hours later. Not until the team received MRI results the next day was she ruled out for that game on July 1
