METAIRIE, La. —

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a drive-by shooting on Interstate 10 near Bonnabel on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the JPSO, a person was riding in a car on I-10 near Bonnabel when they were shot. Advertisement

It is unclear which side of the interstate the shooting happened.

The person shot was taken to an area hospital and is considered critical.

There is no information on a possible suspect.
