BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Cornerstone Alliance has launched a $75,000 study through Bowen National Research to identify the housing needs of communities throughout Berrien county.

All types of housing will be covered through the study, including senior living.

Bowen's research will be more than just numbers; they'll also have a representative in Berrien county by late September to get a 'boots-on-the-ground' perspective on needs in the area.

A number of groups have bought-into the fundraiser, including the city of Buchanan, Niles, New Buffalo, New Buffalo Township and more.

Cornerstone Alliance expects the study to wrap up in December.
