One of the top seniors in Oregon high school girls basketball is headed to The Equality State.

On Wednesday, South Albany senior Taylor Donaldson announced her commitment to Wyoming via social media .

Donaldson is a two-time Class 5A all-state first team honoree . As a junior, she helped lead the RedHawks to a 24-5 record, the No. 3 seed in the Class 5A state tournament and second-place finish in the state. She had 10 points and seven rebounds in the state title game, a 64-58 loss to Crater in overtime .

Donaldon’s biggest performance in the state tournament came in the quarterfinals — a 59-36 victory over Springfield — where she had a whopping 35 points while making seven of 11 three-pointers.
