Francis Ford Coppola has been around long enough to know how to make a movie. He has also spent decades attempting to make one particular movie and finally succeeded in 2024 with the release of Megalopolis. However, as everyone knows now, the movie’s reception and box office performance were not mega anything. Although the movie landed on VOD services in November 2024, within a couple of months it had vanished again, with Coppola being quoted as saying his intention was to have the movie seen in cinemas, or, seemingly, not at all.
