LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Officers arrested a Lincoln man after he reportedly groped a teen in the middle of the night earlier this year.

Moe Wah, 42, was lodged in the Lancaster County jail on suspicion of two felony counts of child abuse. His bond was set at 10% of $300,000 at his arraignment Wednesday.

According to an arrest affidavit, a 15-year-old girl reported she’d been sexually assaulted by Wah in the overnight hours of May 17. It’s unclear when the report was taken.

The girl told police she was awoken by someone touching her lower extremities before witnessing Wah “crawling out of the room,” the affidavit shows. She later forensically interviewed, and police think the alleged incident took a toll on her mental health.
