SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The cold front that brought scattered storms to the region earlier today is on the way out with cooler and drier air arriving in its wake. For tonight, we’ll see a clearing sky and it will be very comfortable with lows falling into the mid 60s.

Thursday will feature plenty of sunshine throughout the day and with more sun expected, temperatures will heat up quickly into the mid and upper 90s by afternoon. Humidity won’t be horrible, but it will still be just enough to push feels like temperatures into the triple digits in some areas.

Clouds will increase on Friday, but it will still be a very hot day with temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 90s during the afternoon.
