There’s little doubt Denver’s defense will be coming for Titans quarterback Cam Ward on Sunday.

The fact he’s a rookie? That should only up the ante.

The Broncos led the NFL with 63 sacks last season, a number reached in part because the team blitzed on 29.5 percent of opponents’ passing attempts—the seventh highest total in the league.

Denver returns four players with at least seven sacks last season—Nik Bonitto (13.5), Jonathon Cooper (10.5), Zach Allen (8.5) and John Franklin-Myers (7.0)—and they’re likely to be champing at the bit to make Ward’s NFL debut miserable.

“The old adage for most quarterbacks is if they test you and pressure you, and it works, [it’s] probably coming again,” Titans coach Brian Callahan said.
