WILLISTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Detail Works, a car detailing shop that describes itself as "a social enterprise designed to help teens and young adults who are struggling with a range of issues," will close October 15.

Two full-time staff members and 10 youth staff will reportedly be laid off.

The shop is operated by Spectrum Youth and Family Services, a non-profit that holds programs for youth in the Burlington and St. Albans areas. Spectrum wrote Wednesday that the closure follows "rapidly escalating" costs for employee health insurance.
