RUTLAND, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - A nursing home was damaged after a fire broke out Thursday City of Rutland firefighters said on Facebook.
The department received an automatic alarm from the Mountain View Center at roughly 5:06 p.m. At the scene on Haywood Avenue, dispatch advised "that there was an outside fire that had spread to the building."
Crews eventually extinguished the fire. All occupants inside were evacuated, but not displaced. Damage only occurred to a small section of the building.
No injuries were reported by officials.
