Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is continuing to share details about his battle with stage 4 cancer, just days before Dallas opens the season Thursday night against the Eagles .

Jones spoke with Good Morning America this week and discussed where his mindset is at as the 2025 season gets underway.

He was also asked about where his mindset was several years back as he battled cancer.

“Going through cancer treatment is one of the hardest things anyone can do, let alone doing that while owning a team. Was there ever a moment where you thought, ‘Maybe this is too much. Maybe I need to step back,’” Jerry Jones was asked during the interview.

He made it clear that the thought of selling the Cowboys or taking a step back from his responsibilities never crossed his mind.
