MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Federal Reserve of Richmond hosted a panel at WVU on Wednesday to discuss unlocking rural potential in the Mountain State.
Discussions that took place during the panel included rural economic issues, economic development, and talks centered around rural communities.
Before the panel, attendees, both in person and online, were invited to answer polls and respond to what they believe are issues facing rural economic development.
Hosting the discussion was Andy Bauer, Vice President and Regional Executive at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He believes that learning from community leaders is crucial to the future of economic development in West Virginia.
