FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. —

Four teens have been charged in an assault by mob case in Florence County, South Carolina.

On Monday, deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by the family of the victim regarding an assault. Latest Forecast

The alleged assault occurred on Durango Road in Coward, SC, on Aug. 31 between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

Deputies said a video of the assault was posted on social media.

Following an investigation, Jaylen McKenzie Koon and three juveniles have been charged with assault by mob.

According to Investigators, Koon and the other juveniles allegedly planned and carried out the attack, which resulted in minor injuries to the victim.

Koon was booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
