BLUE MOUNDS, Wis. (WMTV) - Newly released court and inspection records outline more than 300 violations at Ridglan Farms—a Blue Mounds-based dog breeder supplying dogs for medical research.

Court filings show Ridglan Farms admitted to 308 counts of mistreating dogs and three counts of skipping required health checks dating back to 2022. A Dane County judge ordered the facility to pay over $55,000 in forfeiture and fees after state inspectors documented troubling conditions.

Among the findings: a beagle forced to limp on a ruptured paw cyst, and other dogs left with untreated wounds for days.
