We’re expecting temperatures seven to eight degrees above seasonal average over the next couple of afternoons as we get into the weekend. There will be a slight drop in humidity in South Texas, which will help the mercury climb into the triple-digits.

Rain chances will return by Saturday, with only isolated showers expected. But on Sunday we’re cranking up chances to 60%, meaning there's a 60% chance the San Antonio area will see rain.

Tropical moisture is expected to surge across Mexico and drop soaking rains Sunday through Monday in our region.
