The funeral service for the late state Sen. Gary Stubblefield, R-Branch, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Charleston High School Gymnasium, according to Brotherton Brothers Funeral Homes' website.

The burial will follow at Lowes Creek Cemetery, located north of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

The body of Stubblefield "will lie in state" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 in the state Capitol Rotunda in Little Rock and "will lie in state" from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, according to Stubblefield's obituary posted on the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Homes' website.
