It must have been an emotional day for Princess Leonor as, for the first time, the heir to the Spanish throne donned her Air Force uniform in San Javier to begin the final year of her military training. The 19-year-old, who will one day be the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces when she accedes the throne, is following in the footsteps of her father, King Felipe, as she undertakes the extensive training – and it looks as if the last leg of her education is already well underway.
