Fort Bragg officials are looking to alleviate traffic near the Harnett County side of Nursery Road near Anderson Creek with a western bypass, according to Zach Oldham, chief of the master planning division of the Directorate of Public Works.

Speaking during an Aug. 21 Regional Land Use Advisory Commission meeting, Oldham said the bypass will hopefully alleviate some of the traffic in Spring Lake coming from Moore County commuters who use Manchester Road.
