GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — After making its debut last year, a holiday light extravaganza is returning to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

ENLIGHTEN will run on select evenings between Nov. 24 and Jan. 3. It's billed as an immersive experience that transforms Meijer Gardens into a winter wonderland. As visitors make their way down the 1-mile outdoor path, they will encounter light installations synchronized to music. The experience will also feature interactive elements and incorporate the sculptures and water features along the path.

Meijer Gardens introduced ENLIGHTEN, in partnership with Lightswitch and Upstaging, last year. Eighty thousand tickets were sold and nearly 40% of attendees came from outside of Kent County, according to Meijer Gardens.
