This comes after the Unite members voted to accept an improved deal offered by the company following scheduled strike dates. This deal will see workers' wages increased by either 3.5 percent backdated to January 2025 or a £1,900 pay rise, depending on which is greater, plus a £400 one-off payment.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “This excellent result was secured because the workers at Siemens Energy stood strong in their union – well done to them. Unite’s overriding priority is delivering better jobs, pay and conditions for our members.”
For the first time, workers will also be included in the Siemens Energy global bonus scheme in the next financial year.
