AMES — Iowa State University is not Ohio State University. So, welcome to town Dave Portnoy.

ISU athletic director Jamie Pollard wanted to make that clear with a post on social media Wednesday. In his post, Pollard welcomed Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to ISU for Saturday's game against Iowa. Portnoy, also part of FOX's Big Noon Kickoff pregame show, is a Michigan fan and said he was banned from Ohio State’s stadium last week when Big Noon Kickoff did its broadcast from there.

Responding to Pollard, Portnoy thanked ISU and said, "It's great to see some universities (All but one soft university) STILL know how to do business.”
