SIOUX CITY -- A portion of Jackson Street is slated to temporarily close next week.
Beginning Monday morning, Jackson Street from 29th to 30th streets will close so city contractors can make utility repairs. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 11.
"Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs regarding this closure," the Sioux City Engineering Division said in a statement.
