An Emmerdale favourite has turned to social media to clarify her ongoing commitment to the popular ITV drama.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Michelle Hardwick, who has portrayed Vanessa Woodfield since 2012, has secured a part in the forthcoming film Eyes of Bairns.

The short film explores childhood experiences overshadowed by domestic violence, penned by Chloe McLaughlin and helmed by director Katie Fenton-Green.
