Patchy fog along with slightly cooler temperatures are starting Thursday in Acadiana. Much quieter weather returns for today and tomorrow as rain chances look slim to none. Seasonably hot and humid is expected with highs in the lower 90s. The heat index will mostly be in the upper 90s.

Models are latching onto a cold front Sunday. Much lower humidity is possible next week along with cooler nights but highs could stay in the 80s to 90s.
