An unidentified buyer's $18 million bid has won the public foreclosure auction of the 28-acre Madison Park office park campus in northwest Winston-Salem.
The auction was conducted Aug. 29.
Substitute bankruptcy trustee Brooks Bossong said Wednesday that a 10-day upset bid period continues through Sept. 8.
"If an upset bid is filed before the 10 days are up, that will trigger a new 10-day upset bid period," Bossong said.
The properties listed for auction are 5620, 5630, 5640, 5644, 5650 and 5660 University Parkway. Those buildings are a combined 886,958 square feet of office space.
Also included is the adjacent 5635 Hanes Mill Road building, which contains 44,355 square feet.
Bids were required to be made in cash, and the buildings are being sold in “as is” condition.
